Modules may be installed individually, but must be ordered and installed in pairs for Dual Channel Mode. This system is configurable and can ship with either DDR2-667 (KTD-DM8400B/xx) or DDR2-800 (KTD-DM8400C/xx). When mixing DDR2-667 and DDR2-800 modules, the memory will default 667MHz speed. If 4GB is installed, the recognized memory may be reduced to 3.5GB or less (depending on system configuration and memory allocation). A 64-bit Operating System is required to utilize more than 4GB of memory.
