This system is configurable and can ship with either DDR2-667 (KTD-DM8400BE/xx) or DDR2-800 (KTD-DM8400CE/xx).

When mixing DDR2-667 and DDR2-800 modules, the memory will default 667MHz.

If 4GB is installed, the recognized memory may be reduced to 3.5GB or less (depending on system configuration and memory allocation).
